You got a new job? congrats!

So why did you choose this job?

If you have an answer for this, then vola! You are one of the selected few who actually like what they are doing.

majority of people quit their job in the middle of the day for various reasons,

but deep down, you know the truth: they get bored doing what they do.

Because of expectations and needs, we choose jobs which we regret choosing in the future.

Some people choose careers just because others are doing it, so why shouldn’t I? they fear they’ll get left behind if they don’t follow the rules.

We, as humans, have been wired to become followers since ancient times; for us, safety and food on the table are at the top of our list.

Which is a good thing.

But when the feeling of boredom strikes us, it eats us from the inside.

Which eventually makes us quit what we are doing and choose another career.

Some unfortunates are never able to do that, so they stay trapped in an endless cycle of boredom, which is fuelled by the illusion of safety and food on the table.

Feeling relatable?

So, what should you do now?

There is only one answer; it might disappoint you

Its to DO SOMETHING WHICH YOU CARE ABOUT.

After hearing this, you might think, “there you go, another guy trying to sell me a pipe dream. Sigh…”

I heard this gem of advice from Dr k from healthy gamer GG: “First step is to completely forget about a career and think about things that you really care about and that interest you.”

After this, you need to make a systematic plan from start, which will take you towards making that thing you care about into a real profession.

In the beginning, try investigating about the thing that interests you.

I’m interested in copywriting, and when I investigated about it, I got to know that there are people sitting at their homes writing emails for companies, which makes them around $10,000!

This fascinated me and made me do more research about how I can also start doing it.

I hope these tips gave you some insights into finding your own interests.

Don’t worry, I'll end this long, boring blog now 😊 by one quote from Confucius

“We have 2 lives, and the second begins when we realize we only have one.”
