Daily routine. Hearing these words, you might be thinking about the countless times you failed to follow up. It is alright, though, as daily routines are a waste of time.
The secret to a healthy lifestyle is not some motivational quote or some crypto bro’s daily millionaire routine; it is building habits.
Some might feel like habits and daily routines are the same thing.
Well, one can argue, but the main difference is that habits are actions that we do without any thought behind them, and routines are repeated actions that we master through discipline.
still confused? same here when I first tried to understand it. long story short, habits are hard to give up on compared to routines.
The best way I changed my habits was by understanding a concept called T.H.U.M.O.S., which was made by a YouTuber known as Elisha Long.
Let us unveil the secrets to achieving T.H.U.M.O.S, the 6 habits which changed my life
Training: Set yourself a daily reminder to work out. It doesn't matter what you're doing at the gym or at home; start doing anything that fits you consistently, as this is for life.
Hone: Try learning a new skill and working on it for at least 1 hour a day; trust me, it will help you a lot in the long run.
Unwind: Constant use of social media gives you brain rot; its best to rewire your mind by reading 10 pages of a book every day or just staring at the ceiling.
I know it sounds crazy but you will see what happens when you start.
Move: sit, sleep, eat food, repeat. I know how empty it feels, but once you go outside and walk for like 30 minutes a day, your whole perspective about life changes.
Order: try to keep at least 5 minutes of your time dedicated to cleaning your surroundings, as this will help you be at peace and feel less overwhelmed
Social: The true purpose of life is building connections.
focus on being aware of how you speak, how you are perceived by others and the way you talk.
Don’t listen to stupid advice like “I’m a Sigma male and I don’t need friends.“ The more you talk, the more connections you build, which is the true essence of life.
